Exciting news for all Dr Who fans aged 9-11!

The challenge is simple. We are to write a mini-episode that features the Doctor in an Olympic-themed adventure. Amy and Rory can be included in the script alongside one of four familiar alien species plus a brand new human character. Miss S will be taking writing workshops every Thursday lunchtime for those who would like to enter - the deadline is in March, so we have lots of time to really polish up an amazing script that will be perfect for the time lord!

Don't take our word for it - hear from the Dr himself! Click here to follow the link and to watch Matt Smith introduce the competition. For more information, click here to visit the BBC Dr Who website.

Wind turbine statistics!

Take a look to see how much energy our wind turbine has produced so far, and how many emissions we have saved through our wind energy!

Data as of 18th January 2012

Total electrical energy generated =

7994 kWh

Total carbon dioxide emissions saved =

3487 kg

Our current power generation would have powered a typical Bishops Caundle house for 2 years

It would have powered a typical room heater continuously for a year

It would have powered a 60W light bulb continuously for 14 years

Our special certificates of achievement

A big congratulations to all the children who have achieved 25 stickers in their achievement folder! This means they have tried their best in their learning, and have followed our rights and responsibilities really well.

It looks like it won't be long before all of us achieve our first certificate!
