Our school council is made up of eight children who work together to improve the school. Representatives from classes 2, 3 and 4 meet together every Tuesday lunchtime. The aim is to help the school develop areas which are important to the children. It also means that pupils can give their opinion on school issues.

The School Council belongs to everyone in the school.

The School Councillors are representatives of their Classes and are elected by the children in their class.

Elections will be held each year, in September. After each meeting School Councillors will report back to their classes. The link teacher will report back to the teachers at the Staff Meeting.

The School Councillors have agreed their 5 most important things that they will try and do:

  • Make the school a better place for everyone.

  • Help the adults to know how the children would like to improve our school.

  • Find ways to provide things that the children would like.

  • Always listen to others.

  • Always help others.
