Week Beginning 13th April 2015
This week we have:
Learnt our class story making: How to trap a stone giant. We have started to think creatively to adapt this version into our own: How to trap a rebellious pirate.
Learnt our 'Pirate' name! We had a good giggle over these!
Designed our own pirate.
Predicted and then discussed pirate fiction vs pirate fact. This helped us to write 'did you know facts'.
Enjoyed our new role play area: an island and a pirate ship.
Created our own sketch of a pirate ship at sea.

We thoroughly enjoyed our last week of Pirate learning, which ended with a whole school pirate day as well as our own celebration assembly. Can you recognise any of the pirates below ... perhaps you could find them and ask them their pirate name?!
