Writing Competition Success

10th March 2016

Congratulations to Trinity Beasley who was a winner with her short story judged by the White Hart Vale magazine. The competition for Yrs 5&6 was to write a story with 500 words. The children found the word limit quite a challenge! The stories were emailed to the magazine and Trinity's story was judged the best. Trinity's prize was a £10 book token and best of all she gets to be a published author! Look out for her story in the next edition of the White Hart Vale magazine with her accompanying illustration on the front cover! Thank you to the magazine for the book token for the school to spend on new library books but most of all for giving the children a real reason to write.
