Please make sure home learning books are in every Monday ready for Miss Scott to have a look at and give out new home learning by Wednesday. 
Spellings
Can be found in your child's spelling book.

Please continue to practise common exception words. The list is below.

Number formation: 
Please remember to practise your numbers to make sure you are forming them correctly. Click on the link below to see a video to help you.

Handwriting
Practise your cursive handwriting! Don't forget to lead in and out of your letters and if you join, join them correctly. 
There is some handwriting paper below if you would like to practise your letters and joining. 
Don't forget you can practise your handwriting in lots of different ways. Here are some examples:
  • Writing a shopping list
  • Writing a letter
  • Writing a postcard
  • Writing a story
  • Writing a birthday card
  • Writing a diary
Reading
Reading is so important. Please make sure you are reading at least 3 times a week at home. As well as your reading books don't forget to share books which you enjoy.
 
 
We will be uploading a weekly recommendation of a book/ poem for you to share at home with your family. It would be great to hear your recommendations too!
