On Thursday 16th of June, Rubies Class went on a class trip to Dorchester. In the morning, we visited Maiden Castle which is the largest Iron Age hill fort in Britain but was later inhabited by Romans. We even found a Roman Temple. In the afternoon, we went to Durnovaria (The Roman name for Dorchester). We explored the Roman Town House, learnt about mosaics and even dressed up as various inhabitants from Roman times.
