What an amazing experience our very lucky All Saints pupils have had this morning! Whilst being introduced to five different species of owls from across the continents, they have been able to hear about how these animals survive in both captivity and in the wild.
Whilst one owl decided it was much happier landing on the tallest equipment in the hall and staying there, the children experienced the other owls being fed and swooping silently around them in the hall. Did you know that it is the female owl that calls "twit" whilst the male owl calls "twoo"?
Hopefully they will be able to share some of their newly learned facts with you!
Thank you to Allan from Meredown Falconry for this highly engaging experience.
