Topaz enjoyed planning, baking and constructing gingerbread houses as part of their design technology lessons. Children worked in groups to decide what they were going to decorate their gingerbread houses with. They used team work when they baked the gingerbread and used their maths skills and knowledge to weigh out the ingredients. They enjoyed the tricky challenge of putting their gingerbread house together and needed everyone in their group to hold up the walls for support.
