Queen's 90th Birthday Party

Our children enjoyed a feast fit for a Queen as these pictures show! We were celebrating the Queen's 90th birthday in style! Following an afternoon of Royal related activities dressed in red, white and blue most of our children stayed on to enjoy party games and tea in honour of Her Majesty's birthday! The games started with musical statues. The children were so incredibly skilled we were in danger of running out of time for other games but luckily Miss Scott arrived with her eagle eye and helped us quickly reach 3 winners. Next it was a Royal Treasure Hunt organised by Mrs Kellaway. The children worked in mixed teams using a map of the school site to find clues to solve a puzzle. The children were tireless in their efforts and after 1st, 2nd and 3rd places had been won it was time to enjoy the birthday tea. This was a delightfully presented plate of goodies plus some beautiful cakes provided by parents - flags and blowers added to the party atmosphere. We managed to sing Happy Birthday before finishing off the evening playing together on the school field whilst mums and dads joined us for a cream tea.
What a wonderful event, the proceeds of which will help to fund our new swimming pool. Huge thanks go to the five wonderful parents and friends who worked all day to put on the event. Another fantastic example of the All Saints community in action. Thank you to everyone who supported us.
