In French this term, Ruby Class have been learning simple French words and phrases that would be useful when visiting France, such as Je m'appelle (My name is...) and Ça va ? (How are you?). We have also explored France as a country, learning about some of its famous landmarks, major cities and culture.
To conclude our topic, the children became ‘French Travel Agents’ and created persuasive brochures designed to encourage people to visit France. In their brochures, they included key French phrases, illustrations of famous landmarks and information about delicious French food. The children worked hard to combine their language skills and geographical knowledge to produce engaging and informative travel guides.
