Step Into The NHS Day!
On Thursday this week, Rubies Class took part in a national 'Step into The NHS Day' event. We joined some live video interviews with different members of the National Health Service, and explored all sorts of different NHS Careers, including chefs, IT technicians, physiotherapists and radiographers to name but a few! We made a lovely class display as the day progressed which will be shared with the rest of the school.
To follow up on what we have learned, we are also taking part in the 'Step Into The NHS' competition to create a poster, video or poem that promotes different roles in the NHS. If any of us are selected as a finalist (or even the winner), our submissions could be shown on national electronic billboards, or in our regional area GP surgeries, dentists, opticians and hospitals. We will be working hard on these over the next few weeks and we will share our final pieces with you all once they are ready to submit.
