Dear All,
Following the Government’s announcement regarding school closures, I am so sorry to report that we are STILL waiting for further direction and information regarding supporting our vulnerable children and the children of Key Workers. As soon as we know more, we will certainly let you know.
As far as our staff are concerned, we would love to have 'business as usual', however, I anticipate that we will have no say in the matter. Who the key workers are will also play a part in our future planning.
I can confirm that all pre-paid hot school meals will be refunded as from Monday. We currently have no information regarding meals for pupils who could be in next week. Again, we are hoping that all will be clarified shortly.
FRIDAY 19th MARCH - FANCY DRESS DAY
I understand this is an unsettling time for all of us and I would like our last full day together (for the near future) to be one of fun and laughter rather than a morose one. To that end, we will have a dress up day tomorrow. Children can come in to school tomorrow in fancy dress (possibly using their book week costume). As a result of Sports Relief, you may remember that staff have their forfeit of dressing up as the opposite gender tomorrow anyway. PE will still go ahead so please ensure that pupils have their PE kit to change into.
If there is anything we can do to support any family, please give us a ring. Naturally, any request will be dealt with in total confidence.
We will keep you updated.
