Art during spring lock down

Blue bubble have been inspired by the American artist Chuck Close to create 'grid' self portraits.
 
Close believed the grid gave his art a 'beat' which amplified the abstract qualities of colour and pattern.
 
Therefore, what blue bubble's portraits lose in descriptive detail they gain in the colorful impact of each individual section.
