On Wednesday 25th April at The Gryphon School’s Area Gifted and Talented Maths Challenge Day, for the second year running, their team of Year 6s secured first place above all the other primary schools in the area. Each team was given a number of high level, timed maths challenges to complete. Patrick Unwin, who organised the event from Gryphon School Maths department, commented “All the students involved showed a fantastic level of enthusiasm and resilience in the ways they attempted the various rounds and activities.”
Anne Crumpler Headteacher at All Saints Bishops Caundle said “We are very proud of progress and ability of all our Year 6s, especially the children who represented the school at this event.
