Author visit – Joffre White On Tuesday 2nd October we had a brilliant Reading motivator assembly for all our children and workshops for Ruby and Sapphire Classes. Joffre White, author of the ‘Frog’ series of books visited our school and was amazing at the writing outcomes he achieved from children. Watch out for results of his story writing competition. A review of one of his books from a child’s perspective is: ‘My eyes were literally glued to the pages; it’s an epic fantasy adventure full of wonderful surprises around every corner.’ (Christopher F Aged 10) We have bought a set of books for the school library but if any birthdays are looming I’m sure these would make a popular gift. Huge thanks to Mrs Legg for organising this wonderful opportunity for our children.
