What an amazing treat we had at The Gateway in Yeovil on 8th March when 250 children from local schools performed Oliver! It was a wonderful theatrical experience with a full stage and set, lighting and wonderful children who sang and danced through the story. Once again the All Saints children brought tears to the eyes when they took over the stage for the song ‘Who will buy?’ Their stage presence and choral singing were superb. A special mention to our soloists Cali, Sophia, Jazmyn, Giorgia, Yahya, Kyle and Shane who gave strong and emotive performances to the packed audience.
The children and staff all worked extremely hard during the day and the children were focused and well behaved. The personal development goals go beyond just singing and I am grateful for the children having opportunities to learn important messages such as hard work can create a spectacular end product. These experiences give children lifelong memories and enable them to meet and socialise with other local children, all of whom they will meet again at The Gryphon School. Thank you to our parents who value these opportunities we provide and for your support with the brilliant costumes - the children looked amazing.
