We had a fantastic afternoon yesterday with our inspirational international athlete, Rob Mitchell, leading exercise sessions for all followed by an assembly. He told the children about his journey to success, how perseverance leads to success and how anyone can achieve anything if they put their minds to it. Probably the highlight for the children (and I am sure many of you have already heard this) was when Rob jumped over our highest vault: amazing! I do apologise for any inconvenience caused by the children being released slightly late yesterday, it was a very busy afternoon. Sincere thanks to all of you who sponsored this event. We raised a total of £599 – an incredible achievement, which will go towards the purchase of a new outdoor play slide.
