This term in art Sapphires class will be exploring colour theory and improving their paint handling.

They will also be investigating the artists Wassily Kandinsky and what it means for an artwork to be 'abstract'.

By the end of the unit each Sapphire's pupil will produce an abstract artwork inspired by Russian artists Wassily Kandinsky.

Sapphires have to make all their own colours using just the three primary colours (red, yellow and blue) as well as white and black.
