Rubies are learning about different types of rock. We learnt that igneous rock is formed when magma or lava cools and solidifies.
We melted chocolate over a candle and then poured it on an ice cube. The chocolate represented magma or lava when it was liquid and igneous rock when it cooled on the ice and became solid.
