Reception and Year 1 headed off to Forest School this morning. They went on a plant hunt to see what types of wild plants and flowers they were able to find and name, and had great fun exploring the area in the rain and oozy mud! Year 1 then began their Science learning about trees as they located the different parts of a tree (branches, roots, bark, trunk, leaves), named them and decided what each part is useful for. They also found plenty of evergreen trees.
