Shields.
As part of our design technology lessons the children made shields.
They planned the design of their shield with reason for their choices. They chose an animal which had meaning to them, such as the bumble bee represented a hard worker.
Once planned the children got creative, cutting out their shape and decorating their shield using paint.

Finally after finishing their shields they evaluated them to decide what they did well and what they could do better next time.
